9am at Matawhero Church 1st (Holy Communion) and 3rd Sundays of the month (45 min service}
10am at St Andrew’s Church (unless otherwise advised) Weekly Worship
- 2nd Sunday: Celebration (All Ages)

Special Services
At both churches at Christmas.
Matawhero: Carols on the lawn, 24th – candlelight
St Andrew’s: 24th midnight service, and Christmas Day Service,
Eastertide (Maundy Thurs, Good Friday, Easter Day – dawn at Matawhero, and mid-morning at St Andrews), Remembrance Sunday, Midwinter Sunday, Harvest Festival at Matawhero, Community group service, Springflower Sunday. Café Services three times a year.
Study Groups, Workshops, Bible Studies
Held at different times of year. Offers a range of topics in blocks of 3 to 6 sessions.
Pastoral Services
Taylored to meet a particular personal or family need. Weddings, renewal of vows, house blessings, funerals, stone unveilings, Baptism, Profession of Faith. Contact the minister, Rev. Fraser Paterson
Fridays 1pm-2pm. Beautiful voices making beautiful music to the Glory of God.
Prayer & Care
Opportunities to pray with the minister and elders, individually or collectively. Contact the minister, Rev. Fraser Paterson


Rising Stars
Sunday 10am-11am. 3years of age to School Year 7. Meets during Worship at St Andrew’s. Children involved in leading worship.
Mainly Music
Wednesdays 9.45am-11am during school year. Half hour music/ movement for preschool children and caregivers followed by play and snack for children and refreshments, home baking and conversation with other caregivers.
Social Activities for Teens & Children
Run 3 or 4 times a year, including camp-out.


Open Door
Tuesdays 10am-11am. Social Drop in for seniors: tea, company, chat and wisdom sharing.
Home Communion
For people unable to come to worship. Holy Communion offered on the 4th Sunday.
Rest Home Worship Services
Dunblane (monthly), Te Wiremu (bi-monthly), Riverview, and Leighton House Retirement Homes (twice yearly)
Pastoral Care Visits


Social Outings
Picnics, mystery drives, cultural activities, movies.
Marine Reach
Walking Group
Mondays 9am-10am. Leaves from St Andrew’s Community Centre - friends, fitness, fun.
Pot Providence Meals
Christmas Day Outreach Dinner
The Christmas Day Dinner is offered for individuals, couples, or small families who have no one to share Christmas Day. People who cannot afford the cost of a Christmas Day meal are also welcomed. Those who would like to come to the meal can contact the office to make a reservation. Only those who have reserved can be guaranteed a seat. This year, 100 places will be available.
